Photo Workshops and Tours
My Photo Workshops are designed with you in mind. They are small groups by intent to give you a more personalized workshop. You won't find me having to divide my attention between 6 to 12 students, the maximun size of my workshops are 4 people. Obviously this will provide for a more intimate setting where all your questions can be answered, and more time is available for feedback.
I have been exploring and photographing in California and the Southwest since I was 16. Some of my fondest memories of growing up was getting off school on Fridays and jumping in the truck with my best friend as we headed out to Joshua Tree, Seqouia, or Yosemite for the weekend with our camera's and hiking gear in tow. So I have intimate knowledge of the locations where I have workshops, and those locations were chosen not just because I know of them, but because after all of these years I still love to explore and photograph them. It's a joy that never grows old.
If you have a specific location you would like to photograph, and would like me to guide you and up to 3 of your friends, please let me know. My favorite places to lead workshops are South Dakota, the San Juans Mountains in Colorado (Telluride, Ouray), Death Valley, the Eastern Sierra, Joshua Tree and of course Yosemite.
Colorado
The San Juan Mountains are a very special place, an area that has captured my heart and an area where I spend a couple of months a year. Fall Color is the focal point here, and there is an amazing display around Telluride, Ridgway, Ouray, etc.. It's a great area for small 2 day workshops, with lot's of small back roads to explore.

SoCal Beach Series
Something that I believe is a bit unique will be the SoCal Beach Series of workshops. While certainly you could travel from any distance to come join them, these are setup with a mind towards those of you who live in Southern California. These are personal 2 or 3 day workshops! You tell me the days that work best for you. I have intimate knowledge as to right tide levels for the various beaches to get the absolute photographs. So together we can pick the days and the beaches that will meet your desires.

Photoshop Workshops
It's been brought to my attention that I do know a thing or two about Photoshop! The photo processing aspect of photography is something I really enjoy, and for me harkens back to my old darkroom days. Whether you want to learn how to create layer masks quickly and easily, looking to learn how to prepare your images for printing and everything in between, please contact me for personal one on one Photoshop processing lessons.
